Picture this:

Sunday morning. We're in bed. You're reading the Times aloud to me as I spread marmalade over a piece of toast for you. We discuss all the things we need to do that morning with the full knowledge that none of those things will get done because the entire morning will be spent talking/whispering/giggling/staring at each other in bed.

And, all the while, this mix will be playing at a clearly audible but non-intrusive volume.

The Plan

While researching engagement rings for a friend I came across Doyle and Doyle for the first time. They specialize in vintage and estate pieces that are hand picked for their collection. And oh, what a collection. I've already found every significant piece of jewelery I'll ever need to be given on their website.

They are as follows:

The Promise Ring - to be given to me on our one year anniversary.

The Engagement Ring - after a minimum of two years, pls.

The Wedding Band - for our special day. but only if we can find a matching one for you. if not, we'll go with the tendrement bands from van cleef and arpels, kay?

Open Letter

You fuckin bastard. You need to die. At the very least you need to simply drop dead and cease to exist. At the most you need to suffer the most excruciatingly painful death imaginable over and over again for eternity.
